Our client is a well-recognized silicone implant manufacturer in the aesthetic and reconstructive surgery market in the world, covering all specialties as well as offering custom-made solutions. They are also active on the lipofilling market.

They are now seeking a talented Business Development Manager at the location shown.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establish new customers and maintain strong relationship with potential customers
  • Increase the sales of products to healthcare establishments (hospitals/clinics) in the designated geographical area
  • Conduct presentations to consultants, practice staff and nurses
  • Be present at surgeries in theatres with consultants
  • Organize meetings for consultants and other medical staff
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with medical and supporting administration staff
  • Work closely with the Customer Service team, and UK Business Unit Manager on price quotations, tenders, frameworks, pricing, orders samples, receivables and customer issues
  • Negotiate price setting and finalize contract agreements with new prospects
  • Manage and grow existing accounts by providing excellent support to customers
  • Develop strategies with the business unit manager to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty

Candidate is expected to possess the following skills and experience:

  • Theatre experience (comfortable in theatres and watching surgeries
  • Experience in sales of medical equipment
  • Proven track record in proactively seeking and acquiring new business opportunities
  • Business acumen and resilience to rejection
  • Charismatic networker with a proactive approach to building relationships with both internal partners and external contacts
  • Understanding of a flexible working environment and customer needs through regular contact and feedback
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Customer-centric approach, meeting or exceeding customer expectations
  • Professional, credible, and able to deliver on commitments
  • High energy and data-driven
