Our client is a science-based nutritional supplements organisation with a current focus on fertility and with a determination to expand into other disease areas. They have achieved great success through close links with healthcare professionals & fertility specialists, who recommend their products across the UK.

They are now increasing their marketing activity, through increased market penetration and new product introductions, both with specialists and direct to consumers to further drive their sales growth.

They are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Consumer Brand Manager to join their growing company. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive rapid growth and profitability for one of their fertility products.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager and the team, you will spearhead direct to consumer marketing via social media, other digital approaches and traditional channels, thereby accelerating their already impressive growth and development of their specialised, science-backed fertility supplements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • In consultation with the team, develop strategic, marketing and tactical plans to promote the assigned product(s) in the direct-to-consumer sector
  • Verification of blog content
  • Logistics, merchandise & displays for exhibitions
  • Market research, as agreed
  • SEO for website
  • Amazon product listings
  • Engaging content for email marketing campaigns, Website, Blogs, social media
  • Analysis of Website traffic and analytics, Market/marketing research data, Competitors, trends and sales data

Candidate background:

  • Experience in consumer-facing marketing with successful track record in social media
  • Degree level education
  • Marketing qualification; digital marketing/social media preferred
  • Self-starter with drive and high energy levels
  • Excellent written & verbal communications
  • Successful experience in nutritional supplements, beauty, healthcare or OTC brand management is desirable
  • Supportive and effective team member

A careful planner, the CBM will have great attention to detail and be an excellent communicator in both written and spoken word. Secure in his/her aptitude and abilities, this person will be open to feedback and happy to take responsibility for their actions.
