The Haematology Key Account Manager is a critical role specifically responsible for leading the strategic approach across key target accounts to deliver uptake of their promoted medicines.

It's a dynamic, fast paced therapy area offering real variety of experience, challenge, and knowledge, and is also highly competitive. Their Haematology products have a transformational impact on patients and their loved ones, so this is a fantastic role for anyone passionate about transforming the lives of patients.
The focus of this role is to develop, execute and measure account plans to drive uptake of medicines and improve patient outcomes. Successful individuals will need to build trust and relationships with all relevant stakeholders across the territory to deliver on the account plan objectives. This includes collaborative, innovative development with customers to build mutually beneficial plans.
You will lead engagements with top-tier Key Opinion Leaders and build networks with additional third parties such as professional societies that are relevant to the target markets.
You will partner with marketing, medical and market access groups, as well as teams in business insights and intelligence, training, and compliance.
Candidate background required:
- ABPI qualified with a proven track record of pharma sales success with strong account management experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the NHS structure, policies, drivers, and local health economy.
- Strong understanding of NHS cancer service provision, specialised commissioning key policies and cancer drug funding mechanisms.
- Proven ability to work across boundaries with highly specialised external experts and internal stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen, demonstrated through prior roles, with the ability to analyse trends.
- Prior experience working in within Haematology.
- Project Management skills, including the ability to implement, monitor and review projects.
