Severe Asthma Service Administrator - Birmingham/Remote

They are recruiting for an Administrator to support the severe asthma service at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham by working remotely from home. The site that you will be working in will be a specialist tertiary referral service that provides care for patients from across the local area. The multi-disciplinary team includes consultants, specialist nurses, and pharmacists, who are dedicated to the care of patients with severe asthma.
The main duty of the job is to provide effective administration support, including coordination of outpatient appointments and managing a database for the severe asthma nurse team.
We are looking for candidates that have the ability to work to tight timescales and use their initiative. An understanding of the NHS is desirable, together with IT skills, proven experience of using a word processing package (preferably Microsoft Word) and excellent keyboard skills.
As a member of the team, you will be working closely with the severe asthma nurse and wider team ensuring timely management of department administration, in a friendly, supportive team.
