Business Manager - Medical Devices - Greater London
Our client is a renowned medical device specialist with a decade of experience and proven performance in delivering high-quality surgical technology to the UK public and private healthcare sectors. As Business Manager you will develop new customers and sell a unique therapy in topical oxygen covering customers in both the community and acute settings i.e. Tissue Viability Nurses, Practice Nurses, Podiatrist, Community Nurses, Procurement, etc.
This is a highly autonomous role that will give you ownership for the business in your geographical area.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Identify opportunities to position advanced wound care solutions (topical oxygen) within the treatment pathway and develop the business
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers by following up on trials requests and maximising sales opportunities
- Lead clinical evaluation at sites across the territories
- Support customers regarding clinical or usability questions relation of the therapy
- Educates the health care team on product use, application, and documentation needs
- Identify and support the development of Key Opinion Leaders in the territory
- Participate and represent the client at marketing and sales events such as trade shows, conferences and meetings; prepare associated reports and presentations
Qualifications and experience required:
- Relevant work experience and track record wound care sales
- Understanding of treatment pathways and reimbursement within the NHS or applicable health system
- Excellent presentation skills; including the confidence to present to large groups in a face to face and virtual environment
- Proactively communicates and proactively takes responsibility
- Solid experience Microsoft Office, especially Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook
- Experience in meeting deadlines, prioritising tasks and multi-tasking to deliver results
- Ability to solves challenges and propose solutions
