Graduate Market Intelligence Analyst - Edinburgh

The purpose of this new role is to accelerate CHASE's organisational capability to identify meaningful leads and compelling insights that drive new revenue from the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industry. The focus may expand to MedTech and other markets in time.

This role will identify high potential therapy areas, molecules and target customers for our service portfolio, working in partnership with BD, Marketing & Insights teams to organise, track and convert to new revenue for the business. It will also support CHASE's Insights function to collate and project manage the creation of new insights to engage leads and add value to existing clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Research target markets in disease areas of interest by gathering NHS and disease level information to specify which illnesses are on the NHS' agenda
• Identify which Pharma/Biotech companies either already have medicines and services in these disease areas and/or have research pipelines with medicines coming to market
• Undertake other horizon scanning activities - NICE processes and approvals, new medicines news, industry journals and desk research etc.
• Identify key decision makers to target through LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other lead generation tools
• Work with Marketing/BD/Recruitment teams to create a fully segmented database in HubSpot
• Work in Hubspot to produce a "Monthly Lead Generation" business report
• Input new leads created from BD Associate Network, industry and NHS conferences into Hubspot
• Analyse and interpret competitor trends and activities
• Support proposal development

Candidate profile required:

• Life science degree ideally
• A demonstrable curiosity in the Pharma/Biotech Industry and Healthcare
• An ability to interpret rather than just present data, turning data into information and insight
• Excellence in all aspects of Microsoft Office and any other relevant IT Software
• Willing to learn and work efficiently with Hubspot
• An excellent verbal and written communicator
• Proactive, organised and systematic in approach
• Can work and deliver at speed and manage competing priorities with minimal supervision
