Clinical pharmacist services across the NHS

Medacy’s model is built around permanently employed, fully managed clinical pharmacists, not locums. Every pharmacist is employed directly by Medacy, supported by an expert clinical network, and deployed where the NHS needs them most.Services operate across two models: fully managed on-site pharmacist services for practices and PCNs, and remote clinical pharmacist services for organisations that need flexibility without sacrificing clinical depth.

Fully managed clinical pharmacist services

Permanently employed Medacy pharmacists embedded in GP practices and PCNs, taking the lead on medicines management, structured medication reviews, long-term condition monitoring and prescribing support. Reduces GP workload and improves patient safety.

Remote clinical pharmacist services

Flexible remote pharmacist support for practices and PCNs that need clinical capacity without the overhead of an on-site placement. Medacy’s remote pharmacists engage patients directly, supporting adherence, medication queries and medicines optimisation.

Therapy Review Plus

Specialist clinical pharmacist-led therapy reviews going beyond standard medication reviews. Focusing on disease-specific protocols, monitoring requirements and shared care arrangements for patients on complex or high-risk medicines such as DMARDs and biologics.

Dispensing doctors support

Business analysis, process review and staff training for dispensing GP practices, helping them improve efficiency, prescribing quality and financial performance.

Pharmacist recruitment
